The BodenWärme Laminate and Wood Underlay Insulation For Electric Underwood Heating has been designed to support the BodenWärme Underwood Heating Mats, its high compression strength protects the heating mat from being damaged by small imperfections in the subfloor in both light or heavily trafficked areas. The underlays high thermal properties ensure ample insulation in order to maximise the performance of the heating mat and minimise running costs. These insulation boards can be easily cut with a sharp utility knife making them quick to install for both keen DIY enthusiast or professional fitter. A built-in damp proof barrier makes it suitable for timber or concrete floors; however, when installing over a concrete floor the joints between the boards must be sealed with the aluminium tape provided. These lightweight underlay insulation boards are easy to transport and come in packs of 19 boards which cover an area of 9.7m².
