This Ultim8 High Grab Wall Tile Adhesive by Norcros Adhesives is ready mixed and ready to use. It is an acrylic based organic adhesive for ceramic tiles. Due to the composition of the product, it is suitable for internal use only. It has been formulated to have exceptional wetting out abilities which creates outstanding no-slip properties, reducing the need for support battens for the tiles.
This product can be used for tiling in domestic showers, kitchens and bathrooms, in up to 3 mm bed depths. The working time is 20 to 25 minutes depending on the surrounding conditions such as weather and humidity.
When working with smaller tiles the set time is 24 hours, however this is increased if the size of the tile increases. For larger tiles, the set time can increase to at least 72 hours. This is also the case for smaller tiles if they are being adhered to a painted surface or a surface that already has tiles on it.
It is only suitable for wall tiling and not for floors.
