The circofloPro room thermostat is used to control the temperature of the underfloor heating system. A thermostat can be installed in various rooms meaning you can have a cosy front room whilst keeping your bedroom at a cooler temperature. Due to the piping on the underfloor heating being evenly spaced at 133mm centres the flooring would be an even temperature across the whole room.
The LED thermostat display is programmable for a full 7 day room control and can be adapted when required when away from home. The thermostat fits discreetly into a standard backbox and is hard wired to provide 230V mains supply.
Each individual thermostat comes with an optional floor sensor. Whilst not essential, the sensor allows you to limit the room’s floor temperature and ensure it doesn’t exceed the recommended temperature for your flooring and fixing type. This can prevent damage to wooden boards as excessive heat can lead to bowing, and adhesives used to fix the flooring can also begin to melt. It is advised that customers check with the flooring manufacturer for the recommended temperature levels.
